Hello!
I'm going to be spending next semester out and about, so I figured I should start a studyabroadblog because it's the trendy college kid thing to do. My lovely friend Helen and I are studying abroad on Semester at Sea through the University of Virginia from January 17-May 5.
The itinerary for our trip is right here so everyone can keep track of our ship.
We take classes when we're on the boat, but when we're in port we get to participate in any number of awesome trips and explore each new country. I'm pretty excited to try out this on and off class schedule :)
I'm going to be taking Global Studies, Women and Power in India, Oceanography and The Sea and the Human Imagination.
I'm going to post tons of pictures (both here and on facebook) and keep this blog up to date, so I can share this amazing experience with as many people as possible. This is absolutely a once in a lifetime opportunity and I can't wait to dive right in.
